The Kasu collection, designed by Bernard Dubois for PIN–UP HOME in collaboration with Bitossi Ceramiche, brings together the rigour of industrial materials with the timeless presence of ancient vases. Graphic yet profoundly material, each Kasu form, created using the white clay slip-casting technique, appears both unearthed and refined: an artifact of an unknown civilization, brought to the present with new precision.

After researching the Bitossi tradition, through materials, shapes, and textures documented in the Bitossi Museum Archive, the author finds in engraving the contemporary design approach to which he applies patinated chromatic effects that recall an ancient language.
