Duccio Maria Gambi

Duccio Maria Gambi

Educated amid the radical design movement in Florence and the architectural experimentation of Milan, and shaped by diverse professional experiences and collaborations in Rotterdam and Paris, Duccio Maria Gambi approaches design from a wide range of perspectives.

His work consistently reflects a deep interest in research and storytelling, with each project serving as a reflection within an ongoing journey of exploration into materials, structures, and processes. His work in stone and plastic laminate earned the Cedit Prize at Miart 2017 and is part of the permanent collection of the Triennale Design Museum.

Era

Era

The Era project was born from an investigation into waste material – glazed ceramic fragments that cannot be reused in the production process. An idea of regeneration and sustainability defines the work, where traditional craftsmanship meets new forms of experimentation.
