Cairo-born Karim Rashid is an eclectic figure in interior product design, fashion, furniture and art. His working team is based in New York. He is known for his democratic design and for bringing design to the mass audience. His work can be found in 20 permanent collections and he exhibits artworks in galleries all over the world. He started his collaboration with Bitossi in 2006 with the Simbolik Collection.
