The collection

Complex and dynamic, the collection is composed of pieces inspired by everyday objects: a cake plate, a bowl, a soup plate, and an egg cup. These forms are designed to be combined and reinterpreted into more sculptural and cohesive compositions, where each element naturally supports the others and transforms based on needs.

The result is Cappello da preti, a series of pieces that are at once functional and poetic, whose meaning shifts depending on how they are stacked and used. The project is realized using the potter’s wheel technique in red clay.

FOS is the artistic name of Thomas Poulsen (Denmark, 1971), who divides his time between Copenhagen and Venice. His artistic practice merges sculpture, installation, architecture, and design. His works encourage interaction and reflect on traditions and social systems, exploring how human perception is shaped by context.
