FOS

FOS is the artistic name of Thomas Poulsen, a Danish artist born in 1971 who lives and works between Copenhagen and Venice. His practice spans sculpture, installation, architecture, and design, following an approach he defines as Social Design.

His works encourage interaction and reflect on traditions and social systems, exploring how human perception is shaped by context. At the heart of his work lies the key concept of Social Design.

Adaptable and dynamic, the collection is composed of pieces inspired by everyday objects: a cake plate, a bowl, a soup plate, and an egg cup.

These functional forms are designed to be combined and reinterpreted into more sculptural and cohesive compositions, where each object naturally supports the others and transforms according to the needs of the moment.
