The collection

Matter is the key element of the Clay collection. Wheel shaping allows for thicker forms: cylindrical vases and disk-shaped bowls are vertically incised at the top, then"torn" by hand, making each piece unique.

The colors alternate among eight cataloged versions, from marble-like matte white to various pastel shades. Presented in 2018, the collection draws inspiration from a series of sculptures created by Aldo Londi in the 1980s.
