Formafantasma

Formafantasma

Formafantasma is the studio founded by Italian designers Andrea Trimarchi and Simone Farresin, both graduates of the Design Academy Eindhoven. Their work is featured in the collections of leading museums worldwide, including the MoMA in New York, the Vitra Design Museum, and MAXXI in Rome.

Whether working with clients or pursuing independent research, Formafantasma applies the same rigorous attention to the environment, process, and detail while also addressing the historical, political, and social dimensions of design.

Clay

Clay

Clay is the result of a study in which material exploration is the central element, and wheel-throwing becomes a vehicle for shaping form. Vases and bowls are hand-torn at the top, making each piece unique through a single, expressive gesture.
