Rooms Studio
The collaboration between Nata Janberidze and Keti Toloraia began at the Tbilisi State Academy of Arts, where they both studied Interior Design. In 2007, they founded Rooms Studio, the first female-led design studio in Georgia, focusing primarily on interior projects and collectible design pieces.
Deeply inspired by their country's past – ranging from ancient and medieval Georgian furnishings to Soviet-era aesthetics – Janberidze and Toloraia strive to reinterpret these elements through a contemporary lens, recovering and reshaping them into a new design identity.

The shapes of resistance is a collection of four sculptural ceramic vases in muted tones of dirty black and dusty blue, featuring softened edges and cracked surfaces. Drawing inspiration from the ancient Georgian ceramic tradition, Rooms Studio establishes a dialogue between past and present, and between materiality and form, creating pieces that express a quiet yet powerful sense of resistance.
